For nearly two decades, the Cobb Galleria Centre has hosted our Annual Scholarship Prayer Breakfast supporting The Willie E. Hill Memorial Scholarship Fund. Held in the month of April each year, it serves as both our organization's culminating event and the springboard to propel our high school students in general, and particularly our seniors, into their future lives.
BUY-COBB, Inc.'s Leadership Academy and it competitions are used as scouting camps to spot students who either are the creme de la creme or possess the desire to be the best. Once identified, these future leaders are asked to learn and to contribute more than the average BUY-COBB student. Consequently, from late January until April's prayer breakfast, this cadre of students meets every week. This intense program is a fast track that prepares youth to interface with world leaders, to engage audiences greater than five hundred people and to be accountable to an executive team.
Families, communities, churches, corporations, universities, municipalities and the like come out to celebrate our students every April. What we have heard through the years from our supporters is that they leave convicted by our students' thoughts and excited about the future of our world. We look forward to seeing you this year!
