Starting with the vision of three men, Dr. James Fisher, Mr. Don Johnson and Mr. Winston Strickland, the organization was established in November 1991. The organization was initially incorporated in 1994 under the name of Black Men of America - Cobb, Inc. Today, BUY-COBB, Inc. has over 40 professional member volunteers and is still growing. Our membership is comprised of professional men and women from business, legal, medical, educational and faith-based communities. Each member has a distinct skill set and brings a tremendous value add to our team. In sum, the men and women of BUY are committed to making a difference in the lives of youth in our communities and abroad.
